South Florida Museum, Bishop Planetarium and Parker Manatee Aquarium - The facility includes a Florida History Museum showcasing Florida aboriginal artifacts, fossils and paleontological materials, and local cultural history. The 60,000-gallon Manatee Aquarium houses two live manatees. A 220-seat Planetarium features educational astronomy star shows and entertaining laser light shows, and rooftop observatory.

Everglades Museum - The Museum of the Everglades is located in Everglades City, Florida just off the circle in the center of town. A showcase for the history of the Everglades region, the Museum presents the story of 2,000 years of human habitation with artifacts and period photographs.
