May 10 - Clear Creek History Park's Opening Day Pie Baking Contest, Golden - Celebrate the opening of the Clear Creek History Park's summer season on Saturday, May 10, from 10 am to 4:30 pm. July 4 - 12 - Woodland Music Week, Woodland Park - Starting off during the Old Fashioned 4th of July, music continues at the Symphony Above the Clouds on July 5th and during a "USO Rewind Concert" on July 6th. Additional businesses (Keller Williams, Primo's, Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, Bucks Saloon, The Cowhand, Historic Ute Inn, DDA office, and Tweeds) will feature musicians and " MAMA's Open Mic Night" during the week. Recording artist, W.C. Jameson, will be at Willams Brothers Furniture on Tuesday afternoon and don't miss dinner prepared by Victor of the Black Bear Restaurant at Shining Mountain Golf Club on Thursday with accompaniment by the talented guitarist, John Stone. Stained Glass Inspirations will offer music during the Farmer's Market, Bill LaReau, on July 11th and the ART Reception at Park State Bank & Trust from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. will feature Louise Wilson, The Trombone Gal. For kids, Beth Epley is scheduled at the Ice Cream Parlor, behind the Donut Mill, on Friday from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m., just in time for a cold treat before heading into the final weekend of music. Friday night, July 11th is the start of the "Mix It Up Weekend" hosted by the Woodland Music Series. Saturday afternoon is "Music on the Green," a continuation of the Woodland Music Series program.
