Baranov Museum - The Baranov Museum is housed in one of
only four Russian-built structures remaining in the United States today.
Originally built by Aleksandr Baranov in the early 1800’s as a fur
warehouse, it is the only log building remaining in Kodiak on its original
site.

square foot building and is the only archaeological research and Museum
storage facility for the Aleutian Region.
